Spring Fever 2026
It seems as if this year will be another year of firsts, more to come next month about that. I worked along side of my friend Kurt, his team from Ohio, and his partner in Xenacoj Pr Hector. Together we provided housing for two families and we installed several improved, wood stoves. (the stoves reduce the amount of wood burned and provide a nice cooking surface too) My first time installing stoves and building housing, all in all, a great blessing to everyone involved.
In February and March, we had the privilege of serving alongside our Guatemalan team to provide a variety of healthcare services in Guatemala. Despite challenging circumstances, the team was able to provide medical care, dental care, eyeglasses, and specialty Beeline wheelchairs to many people in need. Most importantly, during that week 68 people made the decision to commit their lives to Christ.
Following that outreach, the dynamic duo—Vickie and Maddie—continued serving for another week alongside another missionary. In their third and final week, they joined Pamela and our Guatemalan team to provide trauma recovery training for local leaders, equipping them to better serve their communities.
As we move further into 2026, we continue forward with clear goals and bold faith. Our focus this year includes:
Drilling 24 clean water wells in communities without safe water
Assisting 12 churches with construction projects
Equipping a new hospital in rural Guatemala with medical equipment and supplies
Providing 200 specialty Beeline wheelchairs for children and youth
Leading community cleanup and service projects in Southfield and Detroit
We are already seeing incredible progress. Twenty clean water projects are currently scheduled, and more than half of them are already funded. Several church construction projects are underway. We are also in discussions with the Mayor of San Luis Jilotepeque, Jalapa about helping equip their new hospital. In addition, 100 Beeline wheelchairs for children in need have already been funded.
As spring approaches, we will also be organizing cleanup and service projects at World Medical Relief in Southfield, along with several projects in Detroit in partnership with some outstanding local organizations. Be sure to watch for updates on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
We are deeply grateful for our incredible partners who continue to make life-changing impacts in their areas of expertise. Please keep them in your prayers:

At the heart of every one of these projects are people. Clean water, safe buildings, medical care, and mobility open doors—but our mission is always the same: to meet practical needs while sharing Salvation that is only found in Jesus Christ, the One who can transform lives for eternity.
