February 2024 - Brasil visit
Recently I travelled to Brasil to deepen relationships, meet some new friends, and scout out projects. One of the most wonderful parts of our work together is meeting great people that have a desire to help others physically and especially spiritually. Integrity International Brasil is official and we are actively funding projects, changing lives for eternity.
I had the opportunity to share with some people one night at a drug and alcohol recovery ministry. I did my best to convince them of the Love that the Father has for them. A love so deep that He did not spare His own Son to deliver us from darkness and into the light. Allowing His Son to suffer for our sin in the greatest exchange of human history.
We had the pleasure of meeting some new friends that are Pastoring in the center of Brasil. They are doing a good work and are very active with several churches that they have planted. We also met an amazing evangelist called Emelia. She is such a precious person with a desire to bless each person she encounters. It was humbling to watch the Lord use her everywhere, in the grocery market, restaurant and just visiting with friends. She is one of those people that has never met a stranger and she is a very spunky 91 years young. What an amazing role model of allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through her with rivers of Living Water.
The trip culminated with a meeting with the Board Members of Integrity International Brasil and after, Churrasco (Brasilian BBQ). My friends Luiz and Alex know how to get it done, that's for sure!
Friends, we will continue to drill wells providing clean drinking water, build churches, deliver medical equipment, supplies, and even direct medical help. However the most important help we can ever provide is sharing the Good News that the Lord God our Father loves each one and that He has provided a way for us to be reconciled to Himself. He is the most Generous Giver of all time. Good News!
