Starting the Year Strong - Feb 2023

This year is off to a strong start as we have many projects in the works. In January we took a team to Guatemala and drilled a well in San Juan el Humedo.

This clean water project was at a community center and impacts 620 people according to the local government. Wow.

We spent a few hours on Friday January 27th in ministry to some of the recipients of the specialized wheelchairs that we sponsored through Beeline Wheelchairs. It was a difficult yet very special time watching as the Beeline staff helped fit each person into their new chair, praying with each family and encouraging them to get to know the Lord Jesus, and Beeline provided each family a bible as well.

Upon returning to the United States some of us drove from the airport on Sunday morning directly to our church (Motor City Church, Troy MI campus) then Vicki Augustiniak and I jumped in my truck to go to Rochester Christian Church in Rochester, Michigan for an interest meeting regarding a Church Building Mission in May 2023. Whew, we walked in just before the Pastor began to share his message for the day. Rochester Christian Church is one of several Detroit area churches that supports the work of Integrity International and I feel at home there.

The following Tuesday, January 31st. our drilling partner Jaime Torres went out to a distant village and did a well repair/pump replacement for us. Pastor Jorge was super excited to have his broken manual pump replaced by an electric pump. A great project that blessed an entire community.

Currently we have 7 different church construction projects in Guatemala in various stages of completion.
